| Osteoporosis in the News, BHOF in the News

Dear Attendees,

We hope that you, your family and colleagues are safe and healthy during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. All staff at the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) are working from home, but fully able to continue to serve our patient and healthcare professional communities.

After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the Interdisciplinary Symposium on Osteoporosis (ISO), originally scheduled for May 27-30, 2020 in Washington, D.C. As you may have heard, much of our area is on ā€œshelter in placeā€ orders. We are extremely grateful to our ISO Planning Committee for the amazing program they had prepared. While we donā€™t have information about the next ISO yet, we do hope to bring you the full ISO 2020 program in the future.

We are very grateful to all healthcare professionals for your efforts to fight this pandemic in your hospitals, clinics and among your patient population. We have posted on our website information about the importance of having osteoporosis patients stay compliant with their medical treatment even during this difficult time. If there is additional information or support we can provide to you or your patients, please let us know. You can email us at education@bonehealthandosteoporosis.org.

NOF is committed to supporting healthcare professionals and your continuing education needs. Our Professional Learning Center offers a single place for you to participate in bone health education programs as well as track your participation to meet your licensure and professional requirements.

We extend our thanks all of you for your understanding about our need to cancel our annual meeting. We hope that you continue to stay safe and healthy.

Again, if you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us at education@bonehealthandosteoporosis.org.

Sincerely,

Claire Gill
Interim CEO
